Just because you name every recipe INEXPENSIVE, does not make it an Affordable Meal! As I read through the recipes, I got the feeling the writer was standing in front of an open refrigerator and trying to figure out how to make a meal out of what she had on hand: e.g. one snack recipe was for crackers and cheese, a lunch recipe was written for lunch meat sandwich, etc.Of course, there were a couple recipes that seemed interesting, I.e. Baked Salmon and Chorizo burrito; however, definitely not "Meals" and not necessarily Affordable. Absolutely zero pictures of any recipe.

Loved this this book Great meals for a budget minded folks
These little cookbooks put out by The Ultimate Guide are great! The fact that I have so many to refer to, or just get ideas for new favorites is awesome. I always look for them from Encore to get them free the first days they are released.
The recipes are appealing but they are shortcuts because the majority of the main ingredients are already prepared (cooked or canned).
Recipe #2 Inexpensive Pumpkin Pancakes was missing the measurements for flour, brown sugar, baking powder and eggs. The instructions tell you what to do with them but not the quantity of the ingredients.
Awesome book. Really good for fixing down to earth food

If you are on a tight budget as many people are today this is a good book for you it tells you how to cook great meals with little money.
All a matter of point of view, isn't it? A recipe called inexpensive but I cannot obtain the ingredient isn't inexpensive, but impossible. I don't remember the title, Inexpensive something that contains rocket. Can't get rocket here (yes, I am aware it is a green vegetable of some kind) but it simply isn't available. Go ahead, tell me Whole Foods or Trader Joe's carries it and I will laugh. Right there takes it out of the realm of inexpensive. There are other examples, this is the one that most caught my eye.
